THE VISITING PROCESS - Prior To Your Scheduled Visit:
For inmates to receive visitation the following must be completed prior to the scheduled visit:
INMATE MUST BE CLASSIFIED: Classification determines the inmate’s privilege level and allows staff to determine the scheduled time of the visit. The classification process can take up to three days.
INMATE MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT VISITOR REQUEST FORM: Visitor Request forms are submitted to the inmate's housing officer and are entered into the system Monday through Friday. Visitor Request lists can be updated by the inmate every four weeks. The inmate needs the following items to successfully complete the form: Full name of visitor, date of birth, current address, telephone, and relation to the inmate. Please send this information to the inmate via US Mail if you feel that the inmate does not have this information.
You are encouraged to call the jail (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. excluding holidays) at 541-682-4263 every week as the time and day of the visit can change.
Visitors must arrive at the visiting check-in area 30 minutes prior to the scheduled visit time. The check-in cutoff time is 10 minutes prior to the scheduled visit (allowing the deputy time to call inmates to the visitor area). It is important to leave the visitor booth as soon as the visit ends to allow the next visit to start on time. Failure to do so may result in a loss of future visiting privileges.
